Autumnal

Relive the

sparkled past

the present

is too distrait

retread

the vanished paces

the moment

is dour and gray

recall those

fading graces

the times are

dank and fey

Tomorrow

flit away

Only memories

hold momentous

Nothing Now

can Stay

The past is

ever present

so have done

with bleak today

whence though it’s

near September

let’s romp with

the buds of May?
