[for my daughters]

In face of

Impending

Doom

And stray

Elephants

In the room

Let us

Resolve

To stay

Unswayed,

By light

Of day –

Banish

incumbent

Fear –
Cling

To what

Is dear

Uphold

Convenancing

Norms

Despite

The Pillage

Of Storms

In Faith

Of Healing

Light

Dispel

The Spreading

Blight

Defy the

Spating

In sympathetic

Mode

Lode

Of anthropic

Empathy –

and

Consilient

True source

Of all our

Wealth

Forswearing

And teum

That swells

that does

all Nature

From

Primal moorings

from love

and life

All things

Save the

Into the Abyss

Of Night

Must we ,

Steadfast,

Go

Leaving

In trust

Least one

in that

breathless,

Eternal
