Love
(For the fragile in spirit)
Love hangs
like a gossamer
from a rainbow
in the sky
if only
words
could fly!
sunsets reek
of butterflies
amber leaves
look like wings
and I think
somewhere
nigh
a nightingale
sings
the day is
spread
like honey
slow seeping
from a jar
emphatically sunny
and things
are up to
par
*
I cannot see
your love
light
and barely
feel
the pain
perhaps this
summer madness
will not
come back
again?
*
Though I winter
in my
solitude
trying hard
not to
cry
and the
seasons whisper
farvel
fond lover
say
goodbye!
I remain lost
in languor
still
just don’t
ask
me why
for matters not
what I do
whether I live
or die
*
Love hangs
like a gossamer
my own
rainbow
in the sky
scattering my
kisses
like petalled
wings that
fly
